Last night Paula, my girlfriend, came and sat down beside me on the couch. I was watching my 46″ Samsung TV that I recently bought. I was watching CSI Miami. My girlfriend put her head on my shoulder and she said, “Boy has it been a long day and I’m tired. And I just don’t have anything to wear to work tomorrow.” I casually said “That’s too bad and got to thinking immediately “she doesn’t even like this show and here she is putting her head on my shoulder and I think she mentioned something about money – oh no, maybe it was about clothes. She needs money for clothes.”

Just as I was thinking that she asked me if she could borrow enough money to buy a couple of sets of clothes. Well, I don’t have a lot of money, and I’m thinking that the money I’m going to be giving her for clothes I could be putting in the bank for my new car. But I love so, so I gave her enough money to buy two new sets of clothes. She seems to appreciate everything I do for her, so I feel it was money well spent.
