I hear from a few friends that DSI Solutions is offering some good quality credit repair services. Word of mouth is still the way to go for me, with so many bogus scams going on and off of the Internet. Times are still trying for most people. So many lives have been destroyed by the economy issue that our government has gotten us all into. Most people I know haven’t seen any thing or positive happen with their lives and careers. There are still tons of “For Sale” signs all over the lawns in all the neighborhoods all across the country. The unemployment numbers are still staggering and there doesn’t seem to be a light at the end of this long dark tunnel.

If I were to take on the task of having to improve credit, I would certainly ask around before jumping in with both feet. So far I’ve managed to stay ahead of the game, but it could turn ugly at any moment; you never know these days. Each day we never know if it is our last at my place of employment. Pink slips are still showing up here and there and no one wants to be called into the manager’s office for fear that they will be walking out carrying that little pink piece of paper!

I have a few buddies that are serving our country and have found themselves doing there time in Iraq. I’m so grateful for the Internet, it has made such a big difference to our military to be able to communicate with friends and family during their time in Hell. It’s too bad that they didn’t have email back in the day of our involvement in Vietnam. It could be that more time could have been spent on the computer instead of doing all the drugs that they so many are so well known to have done.

Anyway, I try and keep up with sending them letters and emails, it is the least that I can do for them while they are doing their part in protecting us from the bad guys. One pal, who is a US Marine sent me this YouTube video along with his latest email. It is too funny and I wanted to post it here for you to enjoy as well.

Some times our Federal Government does something that actually makes sense and is a good thing for all involved. It seems weird to be saying that, but I’m glad that I am honestly able to say it this time around. I’m speaking of the newest extension of the “Home Buyers Tax Credit” There is a good video on Coldwell Bankers web site that I took the time to embed here.

The more knowledge that someone is armed with, the better consumer they will end up becoming. Having something like a $6,500 tax credit available is something worth checking into, wouldn’t you say? This tax credit has made a major impact on the recovery efforts of our whacked out and extremely screwed up economy. And there are still plenty of homes on the market at “way cheap” prices that so many people could end up getting some really decent deals.

I know several people that have recently become first time home owners because of this bill and they couldn’t be happier about the tax credit. Now that it has been extended even more folks might be able to live the American Dream. It’s all about the money, always has been, always will be, sigh…….

I think it is very interesting how the elementary school children in the public school system are taught one version of American history and that it takes a very long time for them to learn about all of the “skeletons” in the American closet! Once they learn about all of the sordid details of the “bad” parts of the American history, it’s a miracle that they have any patriotism left at all! I think it’s only natural for the college students to become disappointed and disillusioned with the country.

Which is really too bad, because even thought there have been a lot of bad things in the American past, the country IS growing and trying to improve! The fact that the American President is bi-racial is proof of that growth! I think that the American flag is going to be getting a lot more respect now that President Obama is making so many positive changes.

We have an American flag that hangs on a bracket attached to a post on our front porch. It is getting pretty rough looking; I am thinking that it is just about time we got a new one. I’d like to get a tall flagpole to install in our garden as a centerpiece and put a new flag there. I think that would look really nice.

I read that the New York Post offered a half- ***ed apology for their very offensive editorial cartoon that depicted two police officers shooting a chimpanzee and implying that a monkey could have drafted a better stimulus package. Their apology was sort of “if we really offended you, we’re sorry but if you are only pretending to be offended and are really just trying to stir up trouble for us because you are our enemy, then we aren’t sorry at all!”

Then they go on to claim that they were not targeting the President, but Congress in general. Well, since WE, THE PEOPLE elect ALL OF THEM to office, then WE SHOULD BE OFFENDED that they are telling US that we are pretty stupid to be electing a bunch of monkeys to run our government! And if we ARE that stupid, who is to blame? The NEWSPAPERS who did not give us enough information about the candidates who were elected! If we are to be expected to elect people to run the country, we need to have enough information about them to make SMART decisions, and that responsibility SHOULD lie with the news media!
